We love this Yixing teapot which has an exquisitely carved design on the pot and lid. The peach symbolizes longevity and boughs of peach tree branches were hung above a doorway to ward away evil spirits! It is bright and cheery and would make a wonderful gift for you or someone else whether or not it's their birthday. Like all our pots, it has a good feel to it and pours well. The pot is about 5.5" from spout to handle, 4"wide and holds almost 11ounces. It is handmade and has the artist's chop (signature) on the bottom of the pot. Like most Yixing pots, it is designed for individual use. The pot comes in a silk lined brocade covered box which will protect it during shipping and makes it perfect for gift giving.
